Any news when these are coming out? Just got my new truck 2 days ago and have the performance bug. Already installed AFE PG7 and torque tube deleted silencer ring. Any info is appreciated.

these pups for the 05's are in testing now and all loooks good. a different factory program than the 04. 5, therefore the delay.

2 weeks or less and they should be released Oo.

I tried the performance setting yesterday and wow!!

It is on a 04. 5 600 though. But I would get on as soon as they come out.

Mike

Any word on if they are working on any of the bugs that seem to be present with the current 600 version? Updated at all? Or just the same programs only for the 05's puter?

Darren

a friend who has an 05 that we installed a pup on a week ago has no bugs. some will get a 602 code. bfd. those with the gray key will show a 633. also, bfd. skim key still works

my friend mark, who is an idaho bomber member is tickled with the performance his pup gives his 05. no bugs at all. he previously ran a 50/90 hp prssr box and sez no comparison to the 90hp setting of the pup compared to 90hp pressure. [no worries from excess rail pressure either. ] the pup [in perf mode]blows the prrsre box outa the water. :D and the exteme setting is truely insane :) he cant believe it Oo . he also cant believe the coo egt with this pup

the issue on the early 04 48re's with a lower power than expected problem is remedied with specific programing files installed for that particular application. the files for the early 04 auto are on same dl'er as 03 and 04. 5 and 05 is on another downloader as not enuff memory space to house all of the files on one unit. them early 04 suckas run like a raped ape too now. Oo.

OK, so bfd if it blows a code with the performance program. I agree. The problem is that when the stock program is put back on, some settings are lost, which could be an indication to the dealer that you've been "messing with the ECM". This is what I want to know if it is addressed yet. Also, does it remember the high idle "on" setting for those of us that have that setup. Until these things are addressed, my truck won't be getting one.

Muddymess -

First you say ... these pups for the 05's are in testing now and all loooks good. a different factory program than the 04. 5...

Then you say ... . the files for the early 04 auto are on same dl'er as 03 and 04. 5 and 05 is on another downloader ... .

Are you saying that I shouldn't have an 04. 5 because the '05 isn't out? I purchased my Dloader specifically for the 04. 5 and I have one marked 03 - 04. 5, ?

I do get the 0602 and 0633, but I also get the 0069 code, MAP Pressure Correlation frequently on the TOW program, but not on performance. I frequently get multi error codes for no reason that kills the power, requires a code clear and restart.

Yes, I know you don't work for BDog, but you do drink their coffee. Pass the word to BDog that they need to have a forum or some tech notes on their web site to keep us informed.

if i wasnt clear enuff,,,,,,,,,the 05 program is in a dl'er of its own. 03, early 04, early 04 auto, and 04. 5 files are in a downloader for those rigs. too many files taking up lots of memory for one downloader to house all the files for ALL the 3g trucks.

hmmmmmmm 0069. no one i know gets that one. worth discussing w/ bdog about

the hi idle should be enabled by using the dl'er if ya press one button while downloading the stock program back in, or any program. details are in instructions of the latest downloaders for the 04/04. 5 48re's

yes,,,,,,,, a forum for the bdog site would be great to discuss all these tech questions. ive mentioned this some time ago and will mention our desire to see this again, in a more persuasive tone

:-laf yep,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,time for big injectors :D

dieselman,

as to the 0069 code,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

bdog has heard of a couple problems with that code. they checked it out and found that it was because of the map sensor cable not being hooked up well enough. so if ya pluged in an outlook [or stacked with a fp box] ya may check and improve the connection
