2005 center tailgate emblem?

Guys, I saw trailer pulling six or seven Dodge 1/2 ton Rams to a dealer last week. The only thing interesting was that a ram-head emblem slightly larger that the only on the grille was centered below the tailgate handle. There were no other badges on the tailgate. It was not centered both vertically and horizontally (only horizontally), i. e. it was biased towards the top of the tailgate.



I'm not too keen on the fact that it mimics the new F-150 a little, but I did like the lack of emblems on the tailgate.



Does anyone know if this is a 2005 change? Anyone know if it will be on the 2500/3500's too? It looked pretty cool, I wouldn't mind having it on my '05

someone here [or on the dtr???] posted a pic of a 4 door srt10 truck they saw in a parking lot under testing by DC. it had the ram emblim under the tailgate handle too. and i think it is a 05 model.
