2005 Dash Part Numbers

Help,



I need the part numbers for the OEM silver and wood dash bezels that snap in around the radio. My local parts guy says that he needs a VIN to look up the numbers! Well, I can't find a VIN for a truck that has the dash from the factory. All comments/suggestions regarding which one to install would be greatly appreciated. Also if you have one that is in mint condition that you may be willing to part with, please let me know! Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure I understand the question/request. Don't they all have either wood or silver? Anyway, mine is 2005 Laramie, so it has the silver bezel, if you need my VIN, I can e-mail or PM it to you.

Thanks for the quick reply. You're right, depending on the year and trim level (SLT/Laramie) you get either a black, woodgrain, or a silver bezel. Mine is the SLT, so I have a black bezel and I am wanting to upgrade to the Laramie bezel. I was going to check into the price of both, so I asked for both part numbers. Sorry, I was somewhat vague. I think that I like the silver bezel better, so if you could please PM me your VIN that would be awesome.

I got the part number for the silver dash bezel from Mopar.



PN: 5GV531L5AC

Cost: ~ $274-----OUCH!



Does anyone have one that they have taken off or are willing to part with?

I have seen those kits as well. However, I have seen some on other cars that tend to peal off or suffer in the heat. I would love to have one, but I can do a better bomb for $274! So, the search continues...
