2005 larime rear seat?????

Can: anyone tell me how to get the rear back of the seat down, Or does it not come down, My dealer say's just pull it hard from the headrest, tried that won't budge, I have the 60/40 rear seat with the flat load floor if that makes a difference, it is a 2005 QC 3500 that i just picked up on Saturday, I'm a newbie, I bought Mopar rear seat covers, but can not get them on without releasing the rear back portion of seat Man am i puzzled, any help would be appreciated,

The seats only fold UP. I could be wrong but I do not think that they have changed since 03.

I have an 05 and dont belive the seats fold down. They do fold up to get to the underseat storage. The bottom clips are hard to release.
