2005 Nitro Transmission

My wife has an 05 Nitro with 95,000 miles. The transmission is shifting hard. We put it in a transmission shop today. They say there isn't anything that can be done short of a full rebuild @ $2,300.



I don't have much experience with auto. trans. Does this sound reasonable?

I don't know anything about the Nitro; however, unless the shop can tell you what is wrong with the transmission to cause the hard shifts and what the "rebuild" will do to correct it, I'd look elsewhere.
