2006 Chevy 2500HD Cummins Swap

hi guys im new to the forum and I hada few quastions about swapping a 12V p-pump cummins in to my 2006 Chevy 2500hd my truck has a 6.0l gas in it with a 4l80E and an electronic transfercase has anyone ever swapped one of these? I want to keep my 4l80e and just beef it up some with a diesel convertor what I am wondering is what all do I need for the swap and were can I get the stuff motor mounts, adaptor plate what do I need to do for wireing? transmission controller? would it be cheaper to swap the transmission? im doing kind of a low budget swap as I don't want to spend too much on it any help is appreciated thank you

I would think the least expensive way would be to get a complete donor 12V truck and swap eng/transmission/tcase. Would need all dodge CPU etc but wiring would be a big deal.
Havn;t talked to anyone first hand on this swap although there is a swapped GM running around the area. I believe it has a solid axle front end and he used a manual NV4500.

Not much real help............Be a lot less headache to sell the Chevy and buy a Dodge
