Pyrometer Temp.

48re won't move in drive.

Over the weekend I replaced a failing fan clutch which had coated the entire engine bay with sticky (silicon?) oil with a mechanical unit for a '99 Ram V10 and a fan for a '03 Ford 7.3l. The truck ran great all day on Sunday so when I got home, I sprayed the engine bay down with Gunk, waited, then pressure washed it being mindful of the electronics (I have done this several times in the past without any problems). On Monday afternoon when I went to fire it up, there was a "no buS" error where the odometer should be. I took the PCU completely apart, checking checking all of the fuses and connections. When I put it back together, the "no buS" error had gone away, but it was replaced with a WTS light that flashes when it should turn off and a truck that cranks but won't start (I just put in brand new batteries for winter). Neither my Smarty or my ELM OBDII scanner will connect with the truck and the "three key" trick doesn't show any codes. There is fuel in the truck, but I don't hear the FASS lift pump kick in when I turn the key, even though it has power going to it in the engine bay. I am stumped, any ideas?

A quick update, I just checked the voltage feed the "trigger wire" on the relay for my FASS fuel pump and it is only reading 10V. According to FASS, that power comes directly from the factory lift pump.

After quite a bit of research, it turned out to to be a bad TIPM. I replaced it with a Doorman remanufactured unit an it fired up right away (after cycling the lift pump with 3 key turns).
