Folks,

Looking at a 2006 Laramie 4x4 with 150,000 miles, which many miles probably were for towing. Clean Carfax with 3 owners, whom may had flipped (sold) the truck after a season of towing (owner 1 - 3. 5 years; 2 and 3 ten months).

Only got a couple of hours to do research, so I'm asking anyone and everyone to throw their "two cents" in on what I should be looking for on this vehicle.

I might be able to get the vehicle in the mid-teen range.

Any ideas of what I should be looking for is greatly appreciated 'cause I only got a couple hours to do research.

THANKS!Oo.

At 150,000mi, the truck could be ready for injectors and possibly a trans depending on how it was treated.
I have ALWAYS told friends that were looking at used vehicles that I believe the better bargain is to spend a little more money and get a lower mileage vehicle. I believe you are usually better off that way. My $0. 02

if its clean and never wrecked, you might consider buying it... test the 4x4, put it on a lift and take a long look at the running gear...

If it makes you feel better, buty an extended warranty from the selling dealer. .

The HPCR 5. 9L equipped trucks are fetching premium prices right now... Being towed with isnt as alarming as one that has had a programmer on it and owned by a kid. .
