I have been looking through the FSM, forums and general internet search's and I have not found a clear answer to what the logic behind the exhaust brake (EB) control is for the 2006 5.9 Cummins ECM.
I have found (and from my experience) that is will run the EB to aid warm up (under 900 rpm, 170 degrees) and it will apply the EB to slow the vehicle when above 25 mph.
What I am trying to figure out: is does it only look at Accelerator Pedal position or does it also look at Brake Pedal input?
