2006 G56 popping out of gear?

I have a bone stock 2006 4x4 2500 (35000 miles) with manual transmission. Today shifting became slightly stiffer, and when I engage the clutch, it would pop out of gear (without touching the shifter). It did not matter what gear I was in. With the clutch disengaged, it does stay in gear, but I can easily pull it into nuetral without clutch. Also, when the truck is off, I can easily move in & out of gears, without the clutch. Any ideas?

I hope you do not drive with your hand on the shifter. If you do you might have took out the brass sinkniser in the transmission.
