2006 OEM Fog Light Brackets

On my truck, I noticed one of my fog lights was dangling. Upon closer inspection I found the fog light bracket broken. I then looked at the other side and it was broke also. No damage to the bumper or anything near the lights.



My question is:... ... ... . how could both brackets be broken at the same time?

Can you buy just the brackets without buying the whole fog light kit for $150 from the dealer?

I have never broken the brackets but have broken the lens. As fas as I know your stuck buying the whole assembly.

I would check a junk yard or ebay... ... ... ... ... ... ...

Couldn't find any at local junk yards. So I bought the complete fog light kit on ebay for $140 OTD.

In the future,the fog lights are made by PIAA. Replacement lens and what not are replaceable,rather then buying the whole light from MOPAR. Any aftermarket bidness selling PIAA lights can get the whole light assmb a damn site cheeper then from MOPAR.

If you need to replace the light itself buy Mopar P/N 55077470AB. You just reuse you old bracket. They are from a Dakota. Shadrach
