Well my new truck is being a little touchy, she has decided she does not want her power steering fliud. I cannot find the source. I thought from the bolts on top of steering box but no luck anyone else have this problem and have a source for leak??

My 06 leaked reddish fluid from around the front of the transmission. It turned out te be a coolant leak from a loose hose clamp near the turbo area of the engine, and it ran down the rear of the engine.

My '05's power steering reservoir ( note reservoir ) drools ATF4 ( clear/red not pink coolant ) and it shows up on the bottom of the pitman arm and steering box. The dealer couldn't find the source even though I told them where it was, but the alignment shop found it on its own. I'm keeping the reservoir fluid level at the 'cold' level by its two sided dip stick indicator. My manual specifys MOPAR ATF4 only . Check your spec. Its crucial. When I have a holiday, I'll go to another dealer for their 'professional' assessment;ie. skulldragging.

Just a quick not the dealer said he put dye into the reservoir and found the steering box was leaking. Not a good start but at least they found the problem.
