I am currently selling my 2005 regular cab and looking at a 2006 quad cab. There is a grey metallic qc at the local dealer here that i am interested in and i figured knowing the manager at the dealership would help me out a little bit but as of right now they are still only offering me 4000 factory rebate off sticker price on a 2006 and I've been reading posts of guys getting up to 14000 off. If anyone has any info or recommendations please post. Also does anyone know the factory rebate for November?

I am hot after a 2006 Qcab too, the Dodge web site has the new info . My dealer told me the 2007 incentive is $2500, but looks per the website to be only $1500 on 07s? Not sure

the dodge site says $3500 or 0% on quads, that sounds pretty lack luster if you ask me, the 0% would likely be a better deal if you plan to keep the truck for the whole time. to figure invoice price on a truck, take 10. 5% off the sticker price or multiply it by . 895 this will get you within a couple hundred of the so called dealer invoice, some dealers are selling for up to $1500 below invoice plus incentives, I would offer them that and possible move up to $1000 below invoice but no more than that

so my truck was around 42k sticker

42,000

invice approx 37590

$3500 incentive

34090,

another $1500 off for below invoice

$ offer 32590, or take the 0% and pay $3500 more for the truck initially, but remember you have to pay sales tax on the greater selling price and will not realize all the savings if you sell the truck early

They fixed the issue now showing $2500 cash expires Nov. 30, 2006 Just in time for me my truck will be here soon.

Local dealer is offering 11500 off all remaining 2006 diesels. It's all about supply and demand. I am working on a deal through Woodson Chrysler in Blair NE. They have a Laramie that fits my needs better but they haven't got back to me so I don't know if they can match the price. Initially the salesman mentioned a 14,000 off deal but that wasn't true. Sorry for posting that. Some trucks have more room to negotiate based on when they were inventoried, etc. Older trucks = more discount. Woodson will deliver to Minneapolis for 30 cents a mile, approximately $100. Lots of 2006's left and they are not flying off the lot at 11,500 off, mostly auto's.

The Dodge site doesn't make any sense... N/A cash back for 2006's, but $2500 off 2007's? With Ford now running a $4000 off 2006's, surely Dodge will have to go to $4500 off, right?

Enter the words "chrysler inventory" into google and you will be rewarded with several articles detailing DC's bloated inventory. They have more unsold 2006's than any other car manufacturer. You should be able to find a deal out there.

New Owner 2006

Just got my new 2006 @ 11,500 off MSRP in Minneapolis at Luther Brookdale Dodge. Vehicles in MN have 4000 off plus old inventory, before April 1 I think, gets additional 1000 off called red dot. This is in line with what Cummins Cowboy mentioned

MSRP = 42,715

0. 895*42715 = 38,230 estimated invoice

-1500-4000-1000 = 11,000 off MSRP

I think they will discount 10,500 for non red dot. Truck is very nice. Rides similar to 2001, needs Bilsteins, but so many improvements especially my pet peave, steering. Everything else is gravy. After swearing never to get another Dodge I think I am really going to like this one. The 2nd Gen's were good, except steering/ fuel system, these are great (time will tell).

Awesome, Tmoe, congrats on the new truck. Tell us more about the options/packages on it: Bighorn SLT, Thunder Road, etc?

New 2006

Options on new truck. Big Horn SLT addition, premium seat to get power on drivers side, flat storage, anti-spin, light group and fold away mirrors. I need to get a block heater in MN but I think, and hope, it may only need a chord.

Took the new truck out for a long test drive up to 75 miles now. No vibrations to 80, great tracking and steering is tight. Overhead 22 mpg at 60 mph 20 @ 70 mph. Miss the instantaneous mpg. First mod, Bilstein shocks and then running boards, brake controller, etc. Dodge should make a lower version for the physically challenged like my parents, both over 70, no discrimination intended. I'm afraid they're going to break something getting in and out of this beast. No different than the 2001.

Looks like there are 3 steel plates on rear axle. Maybe I can remove one or more to lower the rear slightly. My fifth wheel beat the top of my box pretty bad on the 2001 even after flipping the axles.

I got mine in Phoenix in July for approx 10k off sticker. $47,300 sticker, approx 37,200 + ups and extras. HINT; don't go to the dealers. Use the internet and search different areas outside yours. Go to other states. If the guy you are talking to is only willing to go $4k below sticker he's out to lunch. I would stop talking to him now as he obviously thinks he's "special" in some way. Be willing to travel; I live in San Diego. If it wasn't for the time factor, I would have gone to Dave Smith in Utah.

I got aout $8000 off

I ordered my 06 from a local dealer in April. It arrived in July. I had a deal firmed up when I ordered it, but I had the option of taking the incentives that were available when I ordered or what was available at the time of delivery.

When my truck arrived Dodge was doing the "Employee Pricing Plus" incentive. That incentive wound up being $36 less than the deal I had worked prior.

The truck had about a $44k dollar sticker, and I got it for $36k.

Good luck.

I did pretty much the same thing. I worked a deal with a dealer I found advertised on e-Bay in South Carolina. I then took that deal to a local dealer.

The local dealer couldn't beat the deal, but they came within $350 of the deal. It was worth it for me to pay the extra $350, save on time and travel, and there were no unknowns about my trade (my fear is I would get to SC and the dealer would say my trade was worth less than they quoted me).

If anyone in the eastern ND area is looking for a new on the lot 06 2500 QC 4x4 Dodge cummins for under $32,000 let me know, I know were you can get one.

If I were you guys,..

I'd PM Tomeygun. He will know the REAL incentives and also he has sold many of the members on this site and DTR their trucks. He can have them drop shipped wherever you live so NO big deal. Great guy and knows these trucks inside and out. :D
