From researching prior posts I think my TC sprag is failing. Engage the transmission and the engine speeds up to compensate for the drag and braking is necessary to keep the truck from moving.

The funny part is this just happened after a session that my gauges went crazy and would go on and off, door locks wouldn't work, truck intermittently wouldn't shut off or start. This all fixed itself in a couple hours  and the only code was a wrong SKIM. This was preceded by a trip through the car wash so I figured something got wet.

So my question after all of that is there something electrical that could be causing the TC thing or is it just coincidence?

Thanks

I know essentially nothing about automatic transmissions but I would avoid driving it until it has time to dry. You might try removing and inspecting connectors under the hood to look for water intrusion. Try spraying Radio Shack contact cleaner into every connector you can find and remove.

I would also disconnect the ground wires on both batteries and allow time for computers to reset.

Just what I do. Every year before the first snow of the year I get some dielectric grease. Open every connector I can find and put some in. I try not to drive my Dodge that much in the winter but when I do YOU CANNOT BELEIVE how dirty they get im MT. Most of the trucks up here you cant tell what color they are. I have done this on all my equipment and have yet to have an electrical problem. A PITA? you bet!!!! but so are electrical problems.
