my totally intergrated power module is acting crazy and dealer just quoted me 938$ + $125 core charge. i found another dealer on ebay selling them considerably cheaper, but is there a better way for on other than dodge? also what about a used one from junk yard? and i assume this is something the dealer would have to program in?

Firstly, what are some of the symptoms of "going crazy"??

Secondly, the dealer CAN "reflash" the TIPM up to several times to reset it. The reflash should not cost m ore then an hours labor, or not much more then $100. If your dealer can't do it, try to call around and find one who is willing to. That being said, these tipms ARE in fact very sensitive to voltage and current spikes, as well as aftermarket wiring alterations if not done just right. They can get fried, but you should still try a reflash first.

Lastly, Dorman makes an aftermarket rebuilt TIPM (Dorman #599-931) for your 2006 that only costs around $450…

And the dorman comes pre programmed with the latest current specs (06's had too low current programming and would shut off due to trailer or plow lights).
