2006 wheel question

I have been shopping around for a new set of wheels for my truck and noticed that alot of the books say wheel styles up to a 2005 and then something else for a 2006 and up. Did they change the bolt pattern or offset for the 2006 model year? Are the hubs bigger? I have chance to buy some stock wheels from a 2004 will they fit?

I don't think anything changed on the 2006 wheels. I am currently running a set of 2006 Power Wagon wheels, and had a set of stock polished alloys off of a 2006 prior on my 2004. 5. So they are backward compatible for sure.

I have the wheels from my old 04. 5 on my 06 with out any problem. No diff at all.

Most tiems its just a case of them not updating thier info.

What year did they start buffing them up more? The new ones look a bit brighter and maybe that's the difference?

in 04. 5 they polished/chromed the wheels instead of the machine finish/ clearcoat.
