Looking at this truck, what kind of fuel mileage should I expect? Going to downsize and get rid of my dually.

Thanks

Many variables in that question, but I will relate my mileage so you can compare.

City driving can go between 16. 3 - 18. 0 MPG

Highway driving @ 55MPH is 19. 5 - 21. 0 MPG

Highway driving @ 65 MPH is 18. 0 - 19. 5 MPG

These are all hand figured with my truck clicking through 37,000 miles and weighing in at a portly 8900 lbs.

what does it have for gears n tires? i have the same truck with 4:10 gears and 31in tall tires... . smarty . . 5" exhaust

it all depends on how u going to drive and on flat or hills but the above MPG sounds about right on my calm days... ... .....

A 2007 can have a 5. 9 or a 6. 7. The mpg # s stated are comparable to what I get with my 5. 9. Those with 6. 7s may quote much lower #s.

I have 3. 73 R&P and OEM (265/75R/17) tires on my truck.

I will updating to 315/70R/17s come summer time everything else will remain constant.

Expect to lose mpg with those 315s. My truck came with those in BFG brand, and while they looked great, I didn't realize how much power they robbed until I swapped them to 285/70/17 Nitto Dura Grapplers. Truck would coast twice as far and I picked up at least 2 mpg on the highway. And yes, I did use my Smarty to allow for the different tire diameters.
