2007 3500 MegaCab first trip mileage

Took first long trip this weekend and calculated fuel mileage for the trip.



16. 9 on the overhead trip computer

15. 8 using paper and pencil



Sound about right? My 98 24v w/auto used to get 19+ MPG



I have 1500 miles on the new truck and love it so far.











2007 3500 MegaCab 4x4 6 speed Laramie, 5. 9 White w/Khaki, all options except sunroof.

mine got right around 10mpg (pencil) w/an auto trans @ 500 miles. I've got ~4k miles now and it's around 15mpg. 2007 5. 9 4x4 Laramie mega cab dually.

I'm a little less than impressed, my d-max got better mileage, but it was single rear wheel, 3/4 ton 4x4.

Sounds about right for a new truck. Do you have a dually or a SRW?



I'm getting 18 or so highway hand calculated in my Mega Cab and I've only got 6500 miles on it. City driving I get about 16 or so. I'm happy with it and I expect it to climb a little as it breaks in.

My 07 4x4 Mega DRW with 2,400 miles on the clock just did 16. 4 mpg with the cruze set dead on 70 mph, all Interstate. Hand calculted by the way.
