2007 5.9 rough indle

i drive a early 07 and i recently pulled my 7000 lbs rv from phoenix to amarillo. i ran my smarty on level 3 and drove 70 to 75 mph and taking it easy up hills watching my egts. well since i have been here in tx i have only started it a couple days a week and the first start of the day it idles a little rough, still at 800 rpm but its just a little rough. it does smooth out after a couple minutes, so just wondering if its an injector, or just what. i will say the low in amarillo is low 60s and in phx it was low 90s right now. anything helps

You didn't provide the odometer reading so it's hard to guess whether you may have a bad injector.

My high mileage '06 developed a random rough idle and an occasional injection rattle that sounded like the ignition timing advanced too far on a high compression gasser V8. The Amarillo Cummins service department told me I needed a set of new injectors. I had a cylinder performance test done at a trusted Dodge dealership which showed all cylinders and all injectors were fine. Both symptoms were cured by a new FCA (fuel control actuator, IIRC). An FCA costs a little over $100 at a Cummins dealer.

I had a rough idle condition at about 70K... dumped a can of SeaFoam into the fuel filter and it cleared it right up! Been using a cleaner/lube ever since and it hasn't re-occured. At 128K now.
