I got my isspro 3-guage a-pillar from diesel manor with pyro, trans temp, boost. I ordered for the 2007. 5 6. 7 liter engine over the phone to make sure I had everything correct. I opened my box and it had the 5. 9 liter instructions. #@$%! I called they said not much difference. I have searched for hours on here trying to find install instructions I know I read'em awhile back. Can someone please help me and my installer who is plenty experienced with the install instructions for this engine and trans. comb. The gauges look great but not real useful with no probes installed:{. I am going to call dm tech service again in the morning. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the rant last night. I basically just need info where and how to place the probes. boost, egt, trans temp.

2ROWDY:

Try a thread on this forum entitled "Port for turbo pressure gauge". There is also one entitled "Pyro Location" which I cannot find right now but has a photo of the Pre-turbo exhaust manifold location for the Pyro probe. I recently installed a Pyrometer and Boost gauge. I did the Boost myself and had an expert drill the Pyro probe hole for me. Although there are many differing arguments about the Pyro location, pre-turbo seems to be the preserred location. The boost gauge requires a "boost bolt" which replaces one of the intake manifold bolts on the valve cover side of the intake manifold. The inside front bolts are the easiest to get to but need a longer boost bolt. I had a standard length boost bolt and managed to get it installed into one of the inside rear intake manifold bolt holes. It was a PIA to do but works great. There is also an older thread on the 5. 9 forums entitled " 3 gauge install write up" by "NavyDood" which is probably the best on the TDR website which has lots of photos and detailed instruction on gauge installation. PM me if you have any questions.

Thanks for the reply. I will search for those threads. Any other replies would appreciated also. I think I may have the boost and egt fingered out but not much info on the trans temp for 68rfe trans.

Roger that. I also bought a Trans Temp gauge but am waiting until Mag Hytec comes out with a 68RFE pan with a temperature probe port. I had one on my 1995 5. 9 truck and is one of the preferred locations to measure trans oil temperature. I just recently e-mailed Mag Hytec and they advised a new pan should be available in the next 3-4 months.

I checked that also. Not sure what I'm going to do. Maybe a b&m drain plug kit. I wish there was a way to put in the line or somewhere for more accurate reading.

I saw that yesterday on geno's site. I think you still have to drill it and braise in a fitting. I may be wrong but sure appreciate the reply. I think diesel manor is working on a fix that should fit this trans as advertised. They have been very good to work with.

Thanks for the tip on another transmission pan. I'll definitely consider it.

Just located the thread entry by "NavyDood" and it includes photos of a custom made probe fitting to install inline with the trans oil cooler lines. Just search "NavyDood and it should come up.

Diesel Manor sent the part for the trans temp. It supposed to go in the hot line to the cooler. I'm having it installed tuesday after dinner. I'll let you know how it goes.

Got my trans temp guage working yesterday. DM sent a part to splice into the hot line going to the cooler it looks like a clean install and seems to work great. Had to add about a gallon trans fluid(mopar atf+4).
