Archived 2007 6.7 ed issues

07 6.7 will barely run. We pulled the #37 fuse and running lots better. Will it hurt the engine to run it like this . The fused for the turbo pulled. Thanks

Anyone have an issue with the exhaust break on an 07 6.7 ? It seams as it is closing after start up . We pulled the fuse for the turbo #37 and it started running lots better. Would like to know if it would hurt to run it. Any ideas

It shouldn't especially if it's running better. Was it throwing a code before you pulled the fuse ? after you pulled the fuse?

When was the last time the turbo was cleaned on this truck? There was a TSB sometime ago for cleaning the Turbo of soot build-up. I believe they were TSB 11-001-08 and 11-002-08, now these could have been superseded by another TSB more up to date.

Thanks it's a friend's truck trying to help him out. But seams likely to have soot build up. He doesn't have a heavy foot or pull a load. How would he have turbo cleaned? Thanks again Tporter
