2007 DHRA in INDY

Anybody in the upstate ny area plan on going to indy in 2007, if you are let me know if you would like to get together and make it a convoy on the way out on the 1st, i live just south of syracuse and plan on going for sure. Also would like to find out who is in my area that is into the Diesel thing. See Ya

Wow, your really planning ahead! I have gone the past 2 years and probably will go next year as well. It defiantly would be a plus hooking up with some other folks for the trip.

I am about 50 min. east of Syracuse.

There is a coulple more guys around me that might go as well it would definatly be a good time and a nice ride. I already reserved my room at the days inn and will probalyy get another the wife decides to go, if that happens it will be up for grabs if some NYorker that takes the trip out with us, seeya DD

I don't think you'll have any trouble meeting up with some TDR guys for the next IRP.



You can meet some of the guys at the next PATDC Meet -n- Greet. It will probably be in January again.

i am glad to see some other cummins guys in n. y. we need to grt some sort of club or something here in upstate. is anyone interested in diesel truckpulls. we need to get a league together and 1 governing body. dhra rules would be great,or something like that. enough of the b. s. rules at different events. lets get this thing going and make it something big. and yes i am interested in going to indy.

TNicholas where are you? I pull around the eastern side of the state, I've pulled at Washington County, Saratoga and Schaghticoke but plan on doing more as budget and time permit. The Connecticut boys do alot together but yes it would be nice to put together a NY TDR. The DHRA was working on an event at Lebonon Valley just outside of Albany but I don't know where they stand with that. From what I've heard before the guy listed as the NY TDR central NY point of contact doesn't get back to anyone, if you guys want to start a NY chapter I would be willing to do alot of the organizational work to put something together but I would need your help. Give me a PM, we could join up with the CT guys on big events. Let me know.

I sent the local TDR guy an e-mail once and didn't get an answer, I thought about calling him but don't remember it when I'm doin' nuttin'. I wouldn't mind doing something to help, but you're what, 2 1/2 hrs away? I am willing anyways.

Well e have to get a meet and greet to start, iv been on here and have had some interest but i havent tried to get ahold of the TDR rep for us here in ny, but if hes a tool then lets do it on our own. ill be up for a meet and greet if you all want to get to gether, sounds like utica would be a good place to doi as it is closer to all of us, lets hear some ideas.

i wasnt really meaning a tdr but if that is how we should do it then so be it. i was thinking more along the lines of some sort of governing body,1 set of rules and a truckpulling scedule. no more bs rules to compliment those incharge. dhra rules would be great and then you can compete in p. a. and those other places. i would be more than glad to meet and greet and i know at least 8 other guys who would be on board. my point of all this is not to have to go to indy. it would be awesome if those bad *** trucks were here and we could accomodate them as well as ourselves. turbo tim1 is 1 hour north of me . utica would be goob 4 me.
