2007 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Truck Mega Cab

This truck is for sale at a local dealer. It has to be one of the first 6.7s built. It has 27,000 miles on it. Real clean truck. Is there anything to worry about with the engine and transmission since it is an early 6.7?

Just a couple of things that were upgraded on the 3rd gens between 07.5 and the 09 models. Trans valve body, the turbo and the J35 flash.
The trans valve body can have problems around 100k miles (or more) due to some bore wear. The upgraded bodies have the valve bores anodized to reduce wear.
The turbo has had a few upgrades with an anti-wear coating on the sliding ring and a stronger actuator.
The J35 ecm flash increased the exhaust system reliability by better controlling the regen cycles and added the vane cycling at key-on that has helped keep the turbo from building up soot and sticking.

Besides that I think you'll find any other problems are fairly common and not related to the 07.5 model year.

It has been garage kept and only driven 1000 miles in the last year. It is a very clean truck. All service records included. I am about to pull the trigger on it. Thanks for your reply.
