2007 GatorMade 16+2 x 82" Car Hauler
$1,250. 00 OBO
I purchased this brand new in the fall of 2007. It has a 16 foot treated wood deck (still in good shape) with a 2 foot steel dovetail. The width between fenders is 82" and accomodates just about any auto or truck with factory tires/wheels, and even a few with aftermarket tires & wheels. It has two 3500 lb axles so the GVWR is 7000 lbs. The trailer weighs in at 1850 lbs, so the net payload is 5150 lbs. The lighting has been replaced with all LED's. The axles have easy lube fittings. Brakes are only on one axle, as that's all that was required at the time of manufacture. At this time, the brakes aren't the best in the world, so expect to replace the brakes / backing plates (last pair I bought was about $96 including tax at GatorMade). The fenders could use a little TLC as they've broke partially loose near the rear most area of each fender. The tires are in good shape (ST205/75D15) in Load Range C. I will include the matching spare with the trailer. The ramps are 42" long if memory serves me right.
With the 2 foot dovetail, I can easily load my Polaris Sportsman 500 without pulling the ramps. I've hauled lots of high dollar low-to-the ground cars with zero problems. This trailer will give you lots more hauling ability than a conventional "utility" style trailer.
I have the title in hand and ready for transfer. License plates only run about $14. 50 per year. If the title is still in my name after 30 days of sale, I'll request a duplicate and "junk" it as I got burned with 2 years of taxes on another trailer sale one time... .
I can be called from 8:30 am through 9:30 pm any night of the week. 859*582*8228
