Been looking at the new trucks and beent thinking of selling my 98 12 valve and buying a new one. You guys that have them do you like them ? I looked at the mega cab but will go with the smaller door and the 8 ft bed. Seems like some good deals on Ebay also on the trucks like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007...QQihZ009QQcategoryZ119143QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

ANy opinions are appreciated

I love the engineering that went into my '07. It's a quantum leap in braking steering, handling, etc. If we could just duplicate the symplicity of the 12-valve into it. Dream on.

07.5'

So far after just a couple hundred miles I think the 68rfe and built in ebrake I think this is going to be a dream come true for the RVer. Edge told me yesterday it would be close to November before they would have any cumputer enhancements.

I would check the local dealers first.

Now that the 2007. 5's available, 30k for a 5. 9Ll 4-sp auto 4x2 may not be such a great deal.

There's a guy in North Carolina that's also on e-bay. He seems to have some of the best deals on the East Coast:

If you do any towing, such as rv'ing, I would opt for the 6. 9L with 6-sp auto, with built in e-brake.

Hopefully my friend's will be in early next month. I am looking forward to comparing it to my 98 and how we remember his excellent 2003 HO.

They found his 2003 last week. Of course it was minus the engine and transmission. We are toying with the idea of buying it back to put my 95's engine and transmission in it. I don't know if we are up to that swap though.

If you want a diesel that is easy to modify and want a load exhaust by all means stick with the 5. 9. The 6. 7L I think will be a nightmare to modify.

I cant complain with my '07, I absolutely love it! I was skeptical with getting an auto because everybody says the dodge autos are junk, but mines held up well enough so far with smarty on #9-im eager to see how it compares with the '03 which I pretty much put through hell and it never missed a beat...

two of the guys at work bought 2006s with 4x4 slt cummins for 30,400 in Va. last year. that one isn't much of a deal is it.
