Triple Gage Pod :2002

I have searched everywhere to find a dash(plastic) paint that matches my 2007 Dodge Ram dash panel and cannot find anything even close.

I am talking about the removable panel near the windshield. I am placing a triple gauge dash pod on it and want to make it match.

The only catch is my interior color is not the typical gray, its khaki.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

I just got the dash triple pod from geno's and the mopar interior paint. Mine's gray but I thought they had the khaki also. Might want to give Geno's a try.

My 06 Dually Laramie has 3 interior colors! A dark khaki... a light khaki... and the A pillars are light gray !!!!!!!! I am looking for the light gray... ... ... ... . so I can spray my gauge cluster on the A pillar. It should't have to be this hard.

I believe it's natural beige. Geno's has it for about $8.

I bought a can of that from Genos and its way too light.

I've hit every auto parts store in the surrounding areas and haven't found anything even close to this dash panel. Its a dark Khaki, almost brown/green color.

Anyone???

I had the same problem... I asked my dealer about the Mopar paint and they told me they don't have it, can't get it, never will be able to get it... doesn't really make sense to me. She tol me to check Wal-Mart! checked all over town; nothin. So my overhead triple gauge pod is black and will probably stay that way

Did anyone try an autobody shop or supplier? They have books with every color known to man. They could probably get a good match. Mike

Your dealer is full of s...

I ordered '06 dash color taupe in a spray can from my local Chrysler dealer. They may have meant that the '07 colors aren't available but if so, should have said so.

As someone pointed out, there are 2 shades of taupe used on the dash.

Have you considerred leaving the pod the natural charcoal color? My wife, who has a good color eye, thought it would blend in with the other colors used.

Dan

Another idea, most body shops have a hand held meter thing-a-majigy that they can hold against the paint and it'll give the exact paint code. Used one of these a couple years ago for a snowmobile hood and it matched the paint perfect.
