2007 Turbo Whine

My new 07 has a lot more turbo whine than my 03 had. It seems to have gotten a bit worse since I installed a Jacobs exhaust brake. Everything seems to be working fine ... is anyone else experiencing the same noise?

Mine is the same way. I kept my Volant air intake from my 2005 and put it on the new one and it is alot louder, i dont know if it is a lack of noise control in the dash, I HEARD that there is a difference in the turbos but dont quote me on that.

WORSE???? well i guess it must be the younger guys that like lotsa noise from turbos, exhaust and stereos??? my brakes work just fine for me around here but I have been wanting a jake brake to make all sorts of noise in town. but a thousand dollars doesnt justify the noise or added brakes to me when I am horsepower thirsty and county is shutting down a few of my hussles.
