Hello TDR-land,

Can anyone post or forward a copy of the rear wiring diagram for a '07 3500 (DRW)? I purchased the Mopar 2007-style rear clearance "light bar" and want to install it on my '05 2500 (between the tailgate and the bumper). Just want to see where the factory wired it into the 2007 rear harness.

As always, thanks!

I found this in the Upfitters section of the Cab and Chasis page on Dodge's website. It a zip file. It has the Cab/Chasis as well as other vehicles (including the 2007 Ram). It's a PDF. You have to work your way to the location you need, but I think it has the wiring diagram you want.

It plugs into the same place as the 06 and earlier tailgate lamp; a connector at the rear center underside of the pickup box.

As previously stated, the 07 manual isnt around yet, but the rear center clearance lamps, together with the left side amber and red fender clearance lamps are all spliced together and feed off the license plate lamp feed (left rear park light driver @ the tipm). The right side amber and red fender clearance lamps are fed off the right side park light driver of the tipm. Color code for the park lamps is white/yellow for the feed and black for ground.

I've noticed that the 07 box harness is only slightly different from the 06 harness in that it has been changed to accomodate the new stop/tail/turn/backup lamps which use only 2 bulbs per side to perform all functions. The 07 lights split the harness at each side into one weatherpack connector for the stop/tail/turn lamp socket and another for backup lamp socket, as opposed to the 06 and earlier design with the single connector into a circuit board style bulb holder. Other than that change, I dont see a diff between the 06 and 07 wiring in this portion of the vehicle.
