2008 3500 needs a part

anybody out there have access to the following part for my friends 08 3500? Shift cable 52107847AM. Not exactly sure what he needs but is dead in the water without it.

Not sure, but dealers can sometimes do a national search and find one if another dealer has one. Have they tried that?

There are four dealers showing stock, and 400+ parts in process in the system. Make sure your friends dealer has it on special handling and VOR as there are many orders in the system ahead of him.

In the same boat, mine snapped up by the lever in the steering column. Been lookin around for days, was told they're on back order and it'd be a couple weeks. Half tempted to weld it back on haha try your local salvage yard
