Archived 2008 code 2563 but runs

#@$%!bought a 2008 2500 ram quad cab larimie ho. with 99,586 mi ran good past all smog ca. then @115203 code p2563 turbocharger post position sensor circuit performance?? code. called dodge they said could be sensor or buy new turbo??? asked a friend, said might be it was not serviced at 67,000 mi the EGR VALVE AND FILTER?no sign of that on service records that came with truck can i go to dodge with vin and check for upgrades/flashes and how about de sooting the turbo?? any help?? as i was going to do a 5000 mi 5th wheel trip in august. DOUG.

We always recomend the latest oftware available to get all the improvemens.tThere is no servicable sensor for this dtc.The turbo can be cleaned with that code in place and it may or may not correct your issue-the cleaning procedure is much improved over the early procedure but will still not work every time.if the 67500 mi service was not done there would be a message telling you to perform service.so at least the reminder was reset

reset the code with my super chip tuner and re programed to stock. drove about 17 mi. up to town no lite came on drove to auburn l9 mi. and restart lite came on ? the egt temp on edge guage went up to 1200 coming back from sacto. 50 mi freeway 70 mph using engine brake on downhill it got a little louder than normal temporally no overhead warning messages, drives good guess i need to go the dealer that was on the carfax in roseville that did all the service and check what was done at the 67000 mi. just do the 134000 filter and egr and particulate filter clean and turbo position sensor???
