2008+ Emissions Testing...

Hello everyone!!!!!



This is my first post and I thought I would start it off with something I heard from a reliable source.



I was told that there is going to be "New Emissions Testing" on the 2008+ Trucks. Does that mean that us 2007. 5 "Lab Rats" get a break and will not have to do the testing?

Emission testing is state and sometimes county specific... based on what the states and feds have agreed upon... so what happens here in Spokane is not the same as Portland etc...

Also understand that some tests now include a test through the data port... and your edge might prevent you from passing... it would for sure if it was on a gasoline engine...

Well, if Texas makes me test, I might have to "Set up residency" in a "Non Test" State!!!!

In my case it's more local that that, here in Clackamas County Oregon (near Portland) I do not have to test my truck or car while others a few miles away in the same county do. It just depends on how close you are to a populated area, I'm out in the sticks.
