2008 Ranch Rig-- Ready to Deleat?

Hello, first post here.
Looking for some recommendations on what, where to buy for this.
First-- this old truck has 240K miles and 99% of the time it's on the ranch. I have been dealing with this regeneration crap for a long time and ready to just get rid of all that mess. It spends lots of time idling at -20 below.
At this time is says 100% full and see dealer---
So I know I need a tuner and a DPF/Cat pipe but and not sure what other items we need. I have been looking at H&S Performance just to get a better understanding of what parts are available.
We are not needing any more POWER--- I just need a good dependable truck.
Any recommendations on a parts lists or forum threads you may have would be awesome.

My trucks do the same thing, ( idle a lot) especially during calving! My 07.5 is deleted, I bought it that way and it runs great. I'm not sure if you can even get them deleted any more. Other will chime in with answers. Welcome to the TDR

Thanks for the replie STeichert-- I think I can do everything thing myself here at the ranch. So far I have these items ready to pull the trigger but would like to hold off till I hear back from a few folks on this forum. Like I said we are not really looking for any more power out of the old girl---but I appears we need the tuner to get the other items to work ok. I hope so others chime in!

I do not know if H&S is still in business and providing a delete tune? I believe they were hit hard by the EPA with a fine, are you sure that H&S will sell in the states?

You can unplug the EGR on that generation and live with a CEL but no derate.

The EGR is the root of most emissions problems.

of course this is for off-road use only.

Thanks AD6---- I think I will place the order and see what happens---- It's got to be better then the way it sits now! I will update this post as we tear things down!
