2009 trucks

I am curious about the 2009 truck I currently own which was built in June of 2009. The truck is the last of the third generation trucks but yet seems to be sort of a transitional year.

1. ) Where there technically any 2009 third generation trucks?

2. ) I always see parts listed for trucks up till 2008. What are the differences between the 2008/2009 model year?

3. ) Where there 2010 parts used on the 2009 model such as the electronics or anything else?

I believe the engine, transmission and the rest of the drive train are identical to any vehicle built since the 2007. 5. I am not sure about the gage panel since I never looked at a 2009 truck.

They cover all model years and what is different in them.

These changes were only for the 1500 pick-up truck only with the 2500HD and 3500HD trucks to follow in 2010.
