I received my p65/NHTSA 14V-635 safety recall today. The question I have is if I'm running a FASS System do I still need to worry about it. figured the fuel heater is part of the sending unit correct?

This actually does not make me mad, It is nice that Chrysler is going to fix the issue before there is a GOV investigation..

From reading the recall documents on the Internet, it appears that if your truck was made after September 05, 2013, it is OK. If that's correct, mine won't be recalled since it was made on September 13, 2013.

I also received the recall notice the other day. Chrysler does not have the parts to repair yet, but will send another notice in the mail when they have a sufficient number to perform the repairs. At least that's what I gathered. I also have a FASS system and have bypassed the whole filter housing so I don't think I'm going to worry about it. The fuel heater is integral with the fuel filter housing and has nothing to do with the level sender unit, that's in the tank. BTW I have disconnected the fuel heater connection from the housing. Never get's that cold in Va.

I just received a recall on my 2012 Chrysler 300, says the alternator could potentially start a fire or disrupt and disable some functions on the car, but it says don't call your dealer yet as they don't have the replacement parts yet
