Help... . I'm dead in the water... I have reverse... but no forward... sitting on the side of the road...

The new trannys are all electronic. .

Check under the truck, for any loose connections. Particularly on the body of the transmission. Unplug and replug if you can. My old 05 had an issue where it wouldnt shift out of 2nd, ended up being a loose plug.

Seems to me the 03s had the 47re still but the 47re and 48re are similar.



Causes: from 96 service manual 47re.



No drive range.

1. Fluid level low.

2. Gearshift linkage/cable loose/mis adjusted.

3. Rear clutch burnt.

4. Valve body malfunction.

5. Transmisson overrunning clutch broken.

6. Input shaft sealrings worn/damaged.

7. Front palanetary failed/broken.

Sorry... I should have been a little clearer..... its a 2010... 3500. . 6. 7 auto trans... BD extreem towing package. .

BD Extreme Towing Package? I guess you'd better call BD. I"m sure they will warranty their products and whatever has been damaged on your new truck.
