i want to put dilectric grease on the pcm connector,
But unlike the older pcms this one doesn’t have two connectors held in with bolts.

It has one of those connectors with the grey pull down, and what appears to be a green lock slider.

I tried to slide the green button slider down, but it didn’t move much.
I tried pulling the grey locking pull down, but it won’t budge.

Pushed the green button bask up and stopped trying as I didn’t want to break anything before I got some advice.

Thanks

The grey "handle" is locked with a small tab. You push the tab and the handle should now be able to be moved. When the handle moves the green part "slides". If you gently pull on the handle at the same time you pull out on the connector away from the PCM it should help it come out. You might also spray the connector with brake clean to get any grime off so it can slide better. Then spray some WD 40 to give it a little lube. Once you have it off clean off the WD40 so it does not attract dirt again. Just don't yank on the handle as you will break it. If you can find another similar connector that is in a different spot and easier to get to, disconnect it so you can see how they operate. Once you understand how they work it is much easier to disconnect.

I found a video on You Tube that is some help.
