2010 Ram 3500 SLT

Hi All,



Looking at buying a 2010 Ram 3500 SLT from my local dealer. I currently have a 2007 Ram 2500 Megacab. Does anyone have any experience with the new models? It's a dually, which i am totally new to. I'll be using it as a daily driver to work, plus pulling a 26ft travel trailer. Will upgrade to a 5th wheel in the future. Anyone have problems with the DPF system? How about the transmission? Should it be rebuilt before pulling heavy?

I think the newer 6. 7 Engines have been fixed regarding the DPF system, so there should be no problems in that area. I also understand the 3500's have the upgraded 6-speed automatic, and they are very good transmissions acording to a very good friend of mine who write for the TDR.

Thanks Wayne for the info. It is a beautiful truck, and would really take care of my towing needs. I'll keep ya posted if i do end up getting the truck.
