2010 tire size change

My son just bought a new 2010 2500 CTD and changed out the tires with a set of 285X75X17 Toyo mud terrain which are about 3"s taller. Now, of course, his odometer and everything else is off and we would like to know is there anyway short of a programmer to make adjustments?

The Dealer can reprogram the speedometer with a Tech II, it's a very simple procedure and should take less than 15 min. If the dealer he bought it from is worth a darn they should do it for free.

So what tires/size did he take off?? Is he interested in selling them?? If so, please pm me as I am in the market for some new/used tires... Is Pardise Valley anywhere near Reno??? I may be headed up there sometime next month...

Sorry seafish, he traded them in to Les schawb when he got the new ones and Paradise Valley is just above Winnemucca.
