2010 trx 2wd

I just stopped by the dealer to talk about ordering a truck and they told me that since it is "Truck Month" they are willing to deal with anything on the lot.



They have a loaded 2500 TRX 2WD that I drove and it is sweet. They are dealing, that's for sure.



The only thing I want that it doesn't have is the towing mirrors. I was really surprised because the other three TRXs on the lot had towing mirrors. I may negotiate those in.



Anyone have this package and if so, what are the up/down sides to it. The only thing I can tell is that the suspension is stiffer than a regular SLT. I have a 2005 Lariat 2wd now and it rides great and I have had no problems with it. Actually, I'm wondering why I'm looking at a new one.



Looks like the fuel filter is easy to get to compared to the earlier models. Other than that, any input is appreciated.

Do not expect the same fuel mileage on the 2010 truck vs the 2005 truck. I know this for a fact. My son's 2006, 5. 9L consistently gets 20% better fuel mileage then my 2008, 6. 7L truck.

Otherwise I would take my 2008 truck over my sons 2006 truck simply because of the 68RFE transmission and factory exhaust brake on the truck.

I am concerned about the mileage. My 05 gets 20-22 depending on how much city driving I do.



The TRX was showing 18. 5 average with 100 miles on the clock.



I like the truck. It's just not the right color so I haven't bought it.
