Has this happened to anyone?

Drove my truck down to Daytona Bike Week from my home in Connecticut a couple weeks ago . No problems whatsoever on the way down or back up for that matter. Only somewhat of a disappointment is that it only averaged like 12.5 mpg towing an enclosed trailer with 2 bikes in it. While I was down there one early morning I had to drive a friend to the airport when it was still dark out. Was driving normally proceeded to turn on High Beams, they came on , but about 30 seconds after turning them on I think I hit a bump or something and all hell broke loose.... The lights completely shut off, the wipers turned on to low speed and the turn signals stopped working. now I'm like WTF... I pulled back the high beam switch and the low lights came back on , but the wipers continued to run and the signals did not work. Got the truck back to the house I was renting shut it off and restarted with same issues. Checked all fuses found none blown.. Figured I would try one last thing before calling the local Dealer and that was to disconnect both positive cables on both batteries. Left the cables off for about 30 mins , went back out and reconnected, annnnd everything goes back to normal. High beams work, signals work, wipers come on when turned on and work on every speed. .. Drove the 1000 or so miles home with no issues. Fluke I ask???? or do I have it checked at my dealer to see if there are any codes that might show a problem...What do we think????? Thanks for the Response. Truck is a 3500 CCLB 27,000 miles.
