2011-2016 Ram Side Mirror Operation

I read in the 90th edition of TDR (From the shop Floor) about 'Perplexing Mirror Problems'. It states that the side mirrors on a 2011 did not auto-adjust down When put into reverse. Are the mirrors in 2011-2016 RAM suppose to operate like this?

I know the mirrors on my '15 auto adjust down. I don't see the need for the feature when you have good blind spot mirrors, so I have mine turned off.

My 2015 Laramie did not have the feature enabled, and no reason to enable it on the 8.4 settings. Snoking

So on my 2010 Ram 3500 Laramie, how do I enable it? If I never knew I had this.

I can only speak for my '15, and will go as far as say from the '14 refresh and up I know it's a feature. Have no idea about your 2010

The mirror setting's are in 8.4 screen for tilting the mirrors down when in reverse, I have disabled since can not see side of trailer, my boat trailer is 9' wide.

I just manually lower mine if needed. I have the option but don't like it.
