I was browsing the Dodge website earlier out of boredom rather than genuine interest. The site is preliminary and not much info is provided yet but I did notice a couple of things.

3500 GVWR will increase to 13,000# from 12,500#. GCWR will increase to 26,000# . GCWR is 24,000# on my C&C.

The site mentions "range selector" as a new feature which, I assume, means the new C&C will have the toggle on the shifter to select automatic transmission range from 1 through 6 like pickups currently have. That is a nice feature I've always wished my C&C has. It is a continual pain in the rear on my C&C to press the button in the end of the shifter to move from "Drive" or normal to "Tow/Haul" to "OD Lockout" and back.

Also, I notice a picture and label for the ISB6. 7 engine and Aisin automatic, no mention or logo for the gas hemi V8 or G-56 manual transmission.

I wonder. That might imply the hemi V8 and G-56 manual six speed will be dropped for MY2011.
 
If you click on download specs and check out the pdf file that pops up it does list the hemi in the tables on the right side of the second page. There is also a note on a few of the configurations that says for manual transmission only. Looks to me that they are planning on keeping hemi and G56 options. I wish they'd put more info up and start sending those trucks to the dealers! I'm looking forward to a crew cab c&c
 
2011 trucks on their way. According to the DSM website they have 11 2011 c&c's in transit. Window stickers are available Oo.

Sorry to be lazy to look, but are the 2011 C&Cs coming w/ liquid catalist? I was in a 2010 3500 a friend bought, and you can't see as well in front/corners w/ taller hood. Features I really like are the integrated brake controller, bigger cab, and built in powered switches.



be intersting to hear other input, but for my 4500 I hope it lasts 10 to 15 years.

The 2011 Chassis Cab uses DEF (diesel exhaust fluid, urea) and the gallon PN is 68035704AA. It retails for $8. 33 and is much higher than was originally anticipated. I'm sure glad I'm not driving a new Chevy or Ford for an every day driver having to buy eight gallons every 5-6k miles.
