I was browsing the Dodge website earlier out of boredom rather than genuine interest. The site is preliminary and not much info is provided yet but I did notice a couple of things.
3500 GVWR will increase to 13,000# from 12,500#. GCWR will increase to 26,000# . GCWR is 24,000# on my C&C.
The site mentions "range selector" as a new feature which, I assume, means the new C&C will have the toggle on the shifter to select automatic transmission range from 1 through 6 like pickups currently have. That is a nice feature I've always wished my C&C has. It is a continual pain in the rear on my C&C to press the button in the end of the shifter to move from "Drive" or normal to "Tow/Haul" to "OD Lockout" and back.
Also, I notice a picture and label for the ISB6. 7 engine and Aisin automatic, no mention or logo for the gas hemi V8 or G-56 manual transmission.
I wonder. That might imply the hemi V8 and G-56 manual six speed will be dropped for MY2011.
