2011 Differentials

Does the 2011 differentials have gaskets or do they use RTV?

Just had mine apart for installation of PML covers and both had the reuseable gasket on them.

You can see how the cooling fins on the max tow cover works. It shows how the airflow moves under the truck and the up over the axle. Maybe we can get a group buy thru a vendor... . Sam.

How can you find out the type of differential a 2011 diesel 2500 truck has? Not the gearing (mine is 3. 73) but rather the make (like dana 60).

All Dodge Ram trucks since 2003 have AAM axles. Some Cummins equipped trucks came with either a 10. 5 or an 11. 5. Sam

All 2011 diesel rams have 11. 5 AAM axles.

What's the differential lube capacity? I looked in the owner's manual and didn't see it in the fluid capacities or maintenance section.
