Well as the saying go have to let go of my project. I bought this silver 1 owner (fleet) 2012 Ram 2500 SLT CC LB 4X4 WITH 200K miles from OK with the intentions of swapping in newer seats, carpeting and using this as my DD but as they say life and priorities change…
It came bone stock with all emissions operating with a binder of maintenance receipts and Autocheck showed it was on scheduled maintenance plan. I got it here and the trans went into limp mode (4th gear) so took it to my local Dodge who did replace with new factory parts (warranty):
68RFE trans
Holset HE351VE Turbo
TIPM
Ignition lock
Starter (parts warranty only)
Got it out and drove it for 500 miles every day empty going to work and occasionally towing a 20' car hauler trailer with no issues. It started very easy in the blistering cold without plugging up block warmer.
One day a few weeks ago the CEL light comes on so took it to Dodge and it needs IAT and MAF. The tech saw seepage around water pump so that is getting replaced also. It also is getting new wiper sprayer nozzles. It is currently in the shop now getting all these things addressed.
Truck has clean original title, no accident history and no rust. It does have paint rubbed off at the bottom of the door sill. One of the step ladders is removed and wear on the drivers seat. No dents but more than a few scratches or blemishes and the 6.7L fires up every time and runs strong with no issues. It has all power options, cloth interior, integrated TBC and manual transfer case. The tire pressure sensor in tire don't transmit pressure but everything else works with no issues. Truck has Weather Guard black tool box in long bed. Bed looks like it was used for work. Truck cabin has layer of dust in it from OK never got a chance to clean it all out since I was going to upgrade the interior anyway. No rust on the underside or leaks.
Don't have pics yet to post but will soon.
Asking 17k obo for truck that has $11K+ in parts thus far.
