Was with my dad at the toyota dealership on saturday, soon got bored and wondered over to the dodge place next door. They had 3 reg cabs on the lot but two were sold so I could only check out one of them. WOW! I've driven the new 3/4 and 1 tons and liked them but didn't get the wow factor like the c&c. The truck had the aisin (wanted to drive a stick) and I liked! Liked it better than the 68rfe in '10 p/u's I drove... felt more solid, engine brake worked better (could be the 4. 10 vs 3. 73 in p/u though) and they now have the electronic range select like the 68. Really was against an auto but after the test drive in houston I had to go back to San Angelo and found myself thinking about the aisin as I was fightin the traffic through Austin with my nv5600 and weighing 20k.
I was also surprised with the interior (hadn't looked at ST in p/u). Very comfotable for an ST. Had the vinyl seats, which I have never been a fan of, but felt like I could sit in them all day without a problem... even my wife liked 'em. The upfitter swithces are awesome if you like to add stuff to your truck.
The salesman (who was trying to get me to buy a p/u

... more commission?) said that the DEF will reduce regen's, enable more idle time, and increase mileage before oil changes (lower operating cost for commercial market)... but then he's a salesman. Didn't like how low the DEF tank hangs under driver door... seemed like it'd be easy to hit it on something.
Things I like about the c&c vs a p/u- 52 gal tank, stiffer springs, aisin (if i do get an auto), rear sway bar (used to be on p/u but not anymore, why?) and rear track is more narrow (training wheels don't stick out so far).
