I have a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with a 6.7 and 68rfe. It's been down for about 3 weeks now and I was hoping somone might have a recommendation.

I let a friend borrow my programmer (H&S Mini Maxx) so he could VIN unlock it and use it on anther truck. He did VIN unlock it but says that he never ended up using it on the other truck. I loaned it to him on a Thursday and received it back on Friday. Friday night I plugged it back into my truck and loaded the tune. Saturday morning I went to leave my house and noticed that the transmission shifted really hard into reverse and that my back up camera wasn't working. I then put it into drive and noticed that my P,R,N,D lights on the dash were missing and it shifted hard into drive. When I went to accelerate the truck didn't pull until I was up around 1500-1600 rpms. I drove it and realized that the transmission was stuck in about 3rd or 4th gear and not shifting. Upon further inspection I realized that my Tow/Haul button, reverse lights, back up camera and PRND lights all do not work. I checked all fuses and found that the J18 PCM Transmission Range fuse did not make a difference rather it was plugged in or not. I took it to a transmission shop and he said the transmission was fine but the computer (Im assuming ECM) didn't have any programming to tell the transmission solenoids to fire and that the transmission didn't have any power to it. I took the truck to Dodge to have the ECM flashed and it didn't do any good. I now have the truck at an independent shop that specializes in tuning and they're saying that the transmission isn't communicating but they haven't been able to fix it yet. I also tried programming it with a different programmer multiple times but nothing seems to work. Would anyone happen to have any suggestions or insight?

It does sound like the TCM portion of the ECM lost the software. First, did the dealer confirm if the transmission control relay was turning on? If not could they jump it and get the solenoids to power up? The ECM controlls the relay so if software is gone it may not be telling the TIPM to turn it on.
