2012 HVAC cleaning

Hello All,

I went and got mulch on a windy day. Now 3 weeks later I am still smelling mulch when the ac turns on. Where is the HVAC intake so I can start to clean it out.

It is under the cowl grille on the passenger side.

There are lots of posts out there of how to add the FACTORY cabin filter. Geno's garage has a kit.
