Lost my ability to use the windshield squirts and now that we're getting some rain and wet roads I need to fix them.
Finally figure out I had to remove the inner fender to get to the pump. I've got 12 Volts at the connector. I can feel the pump trying to turn (minor torque bump). I'm wondering, after 7 years is it possible that just removing the pump and blowing it out might fix it? Seems like the pump would either work or be dead, not exhibiting what I'm feeling.

Going to drain the tank and pull the pump... I'll check back in a bit to see what other think.

Anyone else deal with this issue?

TIA,
Greg

I've had similar issues on other cars. Pumps were cheap so didn't spend much time tryiing to muck with the pump. Last one I did I got the pump from Rock Auto.

Check that the nozzles aren't clogged form hard water deposits.

Got it out and the pump is dead... going down for a new one, hopefully it's in stock! got a trip coming up after Christmas, can't wait for the shipping from Rock Auto...

I put the Pro in Procrastination...
