Received notice of these recalls...

P26....Reprogram Antilock Brakes

P35...Diesel particulate Filter Wiring

P65...Diesel Fuel Heater Electrical Connector

Ram sent me these notices to get recalls done. Called Dealer. Dealer says part not in for P65 and I should get a letter from Ram telling me when the part is available. Dealer also said I can wait and get them all done at once. Has anyone here gotten these done or had trouble with the above???

My truck runs great and aside from one episode of fuel gelling winter a year ago has given me no trouble. I will get the recalls done.

Thank you,

Ben

Good news is you will be getting a nice surprise from Ram for your trouble. Watch your mailbox.

Had the first two done no big deal. the fuel heater we've known about for a while now. At least they are letting us know there might be a problem and that they are looking into and or coming up with a fix. Just think about how long Chevy took to let people know about the Key switch thing....

I bought mine used and the PO apparently had P26 and P35 done but when I called about P65 I was told the same thing about the lack of parts. So I guess I'm waiting for the letter too.

Hope so. I wanna buy a skid plate (or a couple of them because I hear there are 2. Maybe they'll give me a discount

It's no bull, I received my letter about a month ago I think, it's dated March 2, 2015. It's for a complimentary oil and filter change and a $150 Mopar parts and accesories credit. I'm in Canada and this is what I received, it'll be intersting to see if it's the same value on both sides of the line.

There is no serial number mentioned on the letter and I actually thought it was for my EcoDiesel as I had a few cold weather nuisance trips to the dealer this winter for DEF related problems as well as a frozen intercooler which derated the truck with a "service electronic throttle" message. I called FCA Canada to ask which vehicle the credits were intended for and they confirmed it was for my 3500.

In a separate phone call to FCA they did agree to reimburse me for my Mopar winter front that was suggested for the EcoDiesel in cold climates (similar to the front that comes with a Cummins but it has 4 permanent openings and the installation is much more difficult as you stuff the bottom pads between the bottom of the grill and the top of the bumper, poor design). Anyhow I received that check in the mail last week for almost $200 which I thought was very courteous of FCA.

As for the recalls on my 3500 I've had P26 done but I'm waiting to get the other 2 done in the same trip once parts are available for the P65.
