I have read all through here and have found nothing similar to my issue. I think the water in fuel sensor must be mounted in the wheelwell because every time it rains or snows or the I go through the slightest bit of a water puddle, the water in fuel cel goes on and the dash starts dinging at me. Stops raining and dries up????......the light immediately goes off and generally doesn't come back on until it rains again. I love this truck!! Had a modded 2nd gen before this and the new truck is so much smoother. Thx in advance.

I had the same issue with my 05 after I installed the heavy duty filter kit. I never was able to find out where the break in the wire was but every time I hit a puddle it would trip the WIF lamp and alarm. Your truck is new bring it back let the dealer figure it out. Though you might want to check the connections at the under bed fuel filter WIF sensor. Maybe you'll get lucky and find it unplugged?
